Kimberly Vazquez | Director of Operations
Kimberly Vazquez is the Director of Operations at Kaseya Center, bringing a deep passion for hospitality, leadership, and service excellence. With years of experience in the industry, she believes that hospitality is about intentionality, empathy, and creating memorable experiences—both for guests and team members. She is committed to fostering strong, engaged teams, ensuring they have the tools, training, and leadership needed to deliver top-tier service in a fast-paced environment. - How do you approach maintaining a high level of service and efficiency in such a fast-paced environment?
Excellence and commitment to training are vital for a prepared staff. A well-trained one (with the right leadership), is confident, fun and efficient.
Innovation comes from every direction, which is why it’s important to listen to all ideas to improve the guest experience. This may be through staff training, new technology, or even updated recipes that are more efficient to produce. Thinking outside the box and being open-minded will propel us toward a higher level of performance. -
What’s been your favorite “Welcome to the HEAT” moment during your first season with the organization?
One memory that sticks out happened during my first few weeks with Levy, right when started the NBA season. Rufino Rengifo—our Vice President of Hospitality Strategy—called me just before tipoff and told me to meet him on the floor at a certain section. I thought he had a task for me.Now, keep in mind, I had never been on an NBA court during an event. He brought me courtside, right next to the pyro machines, and I was able to stand right there and watch team introductions. I looked up and the seats were full of cheering fans. The energy was palpable, and it left me speechless and in awe. He told me to remember the feeling and that THIS is what we’re part of. It left me understanding that HEAT Culture is a FORCE and to be part of it is very special.

What advice would you give to women aspiring to leadership positions in high-pressure industries like hospitality and sports?
First, be confident in yourself and present yourself accordingly.The biggest factors affecting my success in a high-pressure industry have been healthy personal habits, a positive professional network and having mentors at senior leadership levels. I also make it a practice to continue learning and saying “yes” to new opportunities.

Agostina Feijoo | Director of Restaurants
Agostina Feijoo, known as “Augi,” is the Director of Restaurants at Kaseya Center, bringing a deep-rooted passion for hospitality and culinary excellence. Growing up in a family of restaurateurs, she learned firsthand the dedication and precision required to create memorable dining experiences. Her career has spanned from managing her mother’s long-standing Miami bistro to leadership roles at Faena Hotel and Major Food Group, where she refined her expertise in service, operations, and guest experience. Now, she channels that passion into elevating premium dining at the arena, blending restaurant-quality hospitality with the energy of live entertainment. With a strong commitment to excellence and a belief that every detail matters, Agostina continues to shape unforgettable experiences for HEAT fans and guests.
- You grew up around the hospitality industry—what lessons did you learn that still influence you today?
I grew up immersed in the hospitality world, with both my parents as restaurateurs. My mom has owned her restaurant for 23 years, and I'm fortunate to have her as a role model. Starting in a family-run business gave me a solid foundation in business operations and the sacrifices needed for success. After working at my mom’s restaurant, I transitioned to the Faena Hotel, where I spent four years progressing from Supervisor to Manager to GM. There, I honed my skills with a focus on service excellence and elevating the dining experience. In hospitality, every detail matters, from how a table is set to how a guest is greeted. This sense of precision and care influences how I approach my work today. - What’s your personal favorite dish or cocktail from the Premium lounges?
If you find yourself in our of our Premium Lounges, I would highly recommend our Chicken Parm with a glass of our house red, Silver Oak. - Hospitality has traditionally been a male-dominated field, especially in leadership—what challenges have you faced as a woman, and how did you overcome them?
My mother has been my greatest mentor and role model, guiding me through countless challenges in her career. I've learned firsthand how difficult it can be to assert authority while maintaining warmth and approachability, as well as how to balance work and family in such a demanding industry. Over the past two years, finding time for myself and my kids has been my biggest challenge. However, our company culture and senior leadership prioritize family, providing us with a healthy work-life balance.

Rodnide Metayer l General Manager of Concessions
Rodnide is the General Manager of Concessions at Kaseya Center, where she oversees a dynamic food and beverage operation that brings the flavors of Miami to HEAT fans. Starting her journey as an hourly employee, she worked her way up through dedication, resilience, and a strong leadership mindset. She credits her success to stepping out of her comfort zone, embracing mentorship, and leading by example. With 20 years in the industry, she has witnessed and contributed to the evolution of arena concessions, ensuring that fans get an authentic and high-quality dining experience. A true HEAT lifer, she cherishes the electric moments in the arena—especially Ray Allen’s legendary 3-pointer in the 2013 NBA Finals—and continues to inspire future leaders, particularly women aspiring to make their mark in the sports business.
- You started as an hourly employee and worked your way up to GM—what was the biggest turning point in your career?
The biggest turning point in my career was when I took on my first leadership role. It pushed me out of my comfort zone and made me realize my potential. Having mentors who believed in me and challenged me to grow was also a game changer for me. - What’s one food item or stand at Kaseya Center that fans might not know about but should definitely try?
One hidden gem is our Chicken & Churros that can be found at Chicken Ciao, which puts our sweet-and-salty spin on chicken & waffles. It’s a must-try for anyone looking for something different from the usual gameday fare! - Do you have a favorite HEAT memory that sticks with you from your time with the organization?
My favorite HEAT memory is when Ray Allen hit that 3-pointer in Game 6 of the 2013 NBA Finals to send the game to overtime. The energy in the arena was unreal, and we went on to win the Finals that year. It’s a moment I’ll never forget! - What’s one moment in your career that made you feel especially proud as a woman in this field?
This is my 20th anniversary with the company, and to have come from being a cashier to now a General Manager is an awesome accomplishment. It’s a testament to hard work, dedication, and the opportunities available for women in this industry.
