TelevisaUnivision announced nominations for the 38th Annual Premio Lo Nuestro Awards, highlighting the artists, songs, and albums that are shaping Latin music across various genres, including pop, urbano, tropical, and Mexican music. The eligibility period for the 2026 awards spans from September 30, 2024, through October 1, 2025. Premio Lo Nuestro 2026 will air live on Univision, UNIMÁS, and Galavisión, and stream on ViX in the United States and across most Latin American countries on Thursday, February 19, at 7 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. CT, from Kaseya Center in Miami, FL.
Under the theme “Honorando lo que Somos,” Premio Lo Nuestro celebrates this year the defining moment Latin music is experiencing, one marked by a renewed and powerful connection to its roots, reflected in the latest works of artists such as Bad Bunny and Karol G, among others. The show will honor pride in where we come from and the cultural force that unites generations, genres, and borders, paying tribute to our roots, our essence, and the cultural identity that defines us.
This year’s nominations span 44 categories, underscoring the global impact and diversity of Latin music. Bad Bunny, Carin León, Myke Towers, and Rauw Alejandro emerge among the most nominated artists, earning 10 nominations each across multiple categories, including top general categories such as the prestigious Premio Lo Nuestro Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year. Close behind are Beéle, Fuerza Regida, and Karol G, each earning eight nods and joining Bad Bunny, Carin León, Maluma, Marc Anthony, Rauw Alejandro, Romeo Santos, and Shakira in the Premio Lo Nuestro Artist of the Year category.
